J.R. Holland – The UK’s Top Banana

In May this year, J.R. Holland celebrated its greatest ever achievement – winning two national industry prizes, signifying us being named the best in the UK.

After scooping the re:fresh Wholesaler of the Year award, we also went on to win re:fresh Overall Produce Trader of the Year against all other category winners. It was a major coup our company bearing in mind the likes of Tesco, Waitrose, Iceland and Somerfield were all in contention for the honour.

Owner John Holland and our team attended the glitzy London Marriot Hotel to collect the gongs in front of over 500 industry leaders. The accolade was given to us for our achievements in the fresh produce sector. Not bad considering it was the first time we have ever entered the awards!
